The project is developing a virtual communication environment for people with aphasia, and evaluating the benefits of that environment with 20 participants.<\/p>\n<p>The CSWs will enter the virtual world via an avatar and will interact with the participants with aphasia. For example, they may play the role of a party guest, or a plumber who has come to fix the boiler in a virtual house.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-217 aligncenter\" alt=\"Hair salon\" src=\"https:\/\/evapark.city.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013\/01\/hair-wash.png\" width=\"365\" height=\"247\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Post holders will receive training and will be supervised by a speech and language therapy researcher.
