\nDo you have aphasia? We are looking for 20 people with aphasia to try out EVA Park.<\/p>\n

EVA Park is a private virtual world with houses, shops, parks, restaurants and bars.\u00a0 We are looking for people with aphasia to practice talking in EVA Park.<\/p>\n

Who<\/strong><\/span> can take part?<\/h2>\n

We are looking for volunteers with aphasia. We will do some tests to check this is the right project for you before we start. We will need to visit you at home. For this reason you need to live in or near London, England.<\/p>\n

What is the purpose<\/strong> <\/span>of the study?<\/h2>\n

We want to see if practicing communication in a virtual world changes real-life communication. We will also find out if people like the virtual world and find it easy to use.<\/p>\n

What does it involve<\/strong><\/span>?<\/h2>\n

You will have 5 weeks access to our private virtual world; EVA Park. In EVA Park you will meet trained support workers and practice talking, for example a chat over coffee. We will open EVA Park four times between autumn 2013 and summer 2015.<\/p>\n

What are the benefits<\/strong><\/span>?<\/h2>\n

We hope that it will be fun and sociable. EVA will give you the chance to practice everyday conversations with a range of people.\u00a0 We hope this will improve your communication.\u00a0 It may also make you more confident.<\/p>\n

If our results are positive we will try and make EVA Park available to other people with aphasia.<\/p>\n
