The latest\u00a0Stroke Association<\/a>\u00a0funded\u00a0EVA Park project<\/a>\u00a0from City, University of London<\/a> is now over<\/b> half way<\/b> through!<\/p>\n

\"update<\/a><\/p>\n

During this project, four support groups<\/strong>, each involving 8 people with aphasia<\/strong>, will run for 6 months<\/strong> in EVA Park. The groups will be led by group leaders and volunteers. They will do activities designed to build relationships between the group members.<\/p>\n

The research aims to find out:<\/p>\n

  1. Whether this type of intervention is possible<\/strong> in EVA Park<\/li>\n
  2. Whether it improves measures of wellbeing<\/strong>, communication<\/strong> and quality of life<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Participants\u2019 views<\/strong> about the intervention and the views of the group volunteers and co-ordinators<\/li>\n
  4. Lastly, we want to know what it costs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
